Hi, my name is Dan but I go by the name “Debt Dude” on this blog. I have debt that I have gotten into because of schooling and some dumb credit card use but I am working hard to reduce it and almost have it back to zero. It sure is easier to get in debt than to get out of it!

This blog will explore all the ways to stay out of debt and get out of debt if you are in it. Is getting a debt relief grant the answer? Does President Obama have any specific debt relief grants? Should you get debt relief help online? These are some of the questions that I will attempt to answer.

Lately I have started getting upset at the national debt and how it has exploded in recent years. I doubt very many people really comprehend just how big of a problem it is right now. I might go on a tirade from time to time because no one seems to really care about the horrible situation we are all in right now. I don’t see any way out unless people start to pay attention and change their habits.
